Since January 2014, the Department has conducted stream and wildlife population monitoring, fish rescues, restoration projects, and many other actions to protect native fish and wildlife threatened or impacted by the statewide drought. These reports reflect efforts at various locations along the coast, the Central Valley, mountains, and deserts of California. Periodically, new reports and updates will be posted to keep the public informed on continued efforts during the drought.
