Language Access
The Dymally-Alatorre Bilingual Services Act ensures all Californians, regardless of the language they speak, have equal access to public services and information. The Act requires state and local agencies serving a significant number of Limited English Proficient (LEP) individuals to provide free oral interpretation and written translation services.
If you have questions, need more information about the Act, or wish to file a complaint regarding bilingual services at the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), please contact the Civil Rights Office at civilrights@wildlife.ca.gov or (916) 902-5577.
Pursuant to the Act (Government Code Section 7290 et seq.), the Language Access Violation Report Form is available in English (PDF) , Spanish (PDF), Mandarin (PDF), Hmong (PDF), Tagalog (PDF) and Armenian (PDF).
