CDFW awards $13 Million for Coho Recovery Projects on the North Coast in response to the Summer 2021 North Coast Coho Recovery Proposal Solicitation Notice. This solicitation was part of CDFW’s Cutting the Green Tape initiative to increase the pace and scale of restoration by making the permitting and granting processes more efficient.

General information about CDFW’s Prop. 1 Restoration Grant Programs, as well as a schedule for upcoming grant solicitations, once available, can be found at wildlife.ca.gov/grants.

CDFW recently hosted a public workshop on February 2, 2022, to review the application process for the 2022 Proposition 1 Proposal Solicitation Notice (PSN) (PDF). The recording and presentation are now available. Links are provided below:

Additionally, the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) (PDF) have been posted. The FAQ will be updated as questions are submitted to WatershedGrants@wildlife.ca.gov.

The 2022 FRGP Draft Proposal Solicitation Notice (Word) and Guidelines (Word) are available for public review. A summary of the PSN updates is available in the 2022 PSN FAQ (Word). Comments may be submitted to CDFW via email to FRGP@wildlife.ca.gov. Deadline for public comments is February 18, 2022, by 4:00 p.m.

CDFW will host an online Public Meeting to discuss the 2022 solicitation and collect comments from the public on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at 10:30 a.m.

The deadline for applications is March 4, 2022, by 4:00 p.m. PDT. Applications must be submitted via CDFW WebGrants.

CDFW will host an online application workshop (PDF), February 2, 2022, to review the application process. This workshop is optional and not required to apply.
