Open Solicitation: Golden Eagle Conservation Grant 2025-2026

CDFW is now accepting applications for projects under a one-time Golden Eagle Conservation Grant to promote golden eagle conservation primarily in the Altamont Pass Wind Resource Area in Alameda and Contra Costa counties, as well as the Tehachapi Wind Resource Area in Kern County. The Public Solicitation Notice (PDF) outlines the background, eligibility information and grant requirements, schedule and review process, and includes Appendix A: Project Statement and Budget Worksheet (Word)

Applications must be submitted by email with the subject line "Golden Eagle Conservation Grant 2025" to R3CESA@wildlife.ca.gov by June 16, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. PST.

2025 Endangered Species Conservation and Recovery Program (Traditional Section 6) Proposal Solicitation Open

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife 2025 Endangered Species Conservation and Recovery Program Grant application period opened today, January 14, 2025. Applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m., February 24, 2025. See the Proposal Solicitation Notice (PDF) for submission directions. These grants are awarded by USFWS to CDFW, and project leads must be CDFW staff; however, CDFW welcomes collaboration with external partners who may be supported through contracts and payable grants. Interested parties should coordinate with CDFW staff to develop project proposals.

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) 2024 Endangered Species Conservation and Recovery Program Grant application period opened today, December 20, 2023. Application packages must be uploaded to the Federal Assistance Services by CDFW grant leads by 5:00 p.m., January 29, 2024. Proposals must be approved and signed by the appropriate CDFW Regional Manager or Branch Chief prior to submission. See the Proposal Solicitation Notice for submission directions.
