2026 FRGP Proposal Solicitation Notice (PSN)

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) Fisheries Restoration Grant Program (FRGP) is pleased to share the 2026 FRGP Proposal Solicitation Notice (PDF) and Guidelines (PDF).

As of 2026, all proposals requesting $2 million or more are required to submit a concept proposal to be eligible for the full proposal. The concept proposal phase is now closed.

Applicants must apply online using WebGrants. For more information, please see the 2026 PSN, the Guidelines, and the 2026 PSN FAQs (PDF). Applicants should download the PSN as a reference document to assure compliance with CDFW's proposal requirements. Applicants should refer to the Application Template (Word) to help organize application information.

FRGP Focus Watershed Maps

The FRGP Focus Tools map is available as a guideline to help you find your project within the correct watershed. Focus determination for a project will be based on the Focus Table in the PSN, Part III, not on these maps. If you have any questions about your project location, please reach out to your regional contact.
