Fisheries Habitat Restoration Proposal Solicitation Notice


In response to ongoing challenges related to COVID-19, CDFW is extending the deadline for applications from April 14 to Friday May 1, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. CDFW grant programs are continuing to operate business as normal, and staff are working remotely to actively manage existing grants and Department functions. Review for this 2020 FHR PSN will proceed as normal and will fully support awarded projects as proposed. Any updates related to FRGP COVID-19 impacts will be posted here.

The 2020 FHR PSN will be open from March 3, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. through May 1, 2020, 3:00 p.m.

You will need to download the 2020 Solicitation as a reference document to assure compliance with CDFW's proposal requirements. Applicants should refer to the link opens in new windowOnline Instructions (PDF) for information about how to complete the application and the Application Form Template (Word) to help organize applications. The Fisheries Branch recently released its latest Fish Passage Priority List, which should be referenced when considering barrier removal projects.

CDFW will again be holding PSN workshops to assist applicants in understanding the requirements of the PSN and Guidelines. It is to the benefit of the applicant to attend one of these workshops even if the applicant has submitted proposals in the past. Please attend one of the workshops listed below for information on changes to the PSN and Guidelines. There will be several workshops reviewing the solicitation site-wide, including one online workshop.
