General Grant Provisions

Grant agreements will contain the General Grant Provisions outlined in these documents as applicable for public, non-public, and federal entities.

Templates

Grantees must complete and submit Quarterly, Project Close-out Reports and Invoices per their Grant Agreement. Templates are provided below.

Grant Amendments

Grantees may request a grant amendment following the Amendment Request Guidelines.

Contingency Funding Requests

Signage

Grantees must include signage, to the extent practicable, informing the public that the project received funds through CDFW from the Water Quality, Supply, and Infrastructure Improvement Act of 2014. The sign should include the following:

• Project name as it appears in the project agreement
• Acknowledgement of project partners including CDFW (logo is preferred)
• On CDFW-owned lands, acknowledgement of CDFW

• EcoAtlas Project Tracker Instructions for CDFW Restoration Grants/Watershed Restoration Grants (PDF) - Project Tracker tracks wetland and riparian restoration, mitigation, and habitat conservation projects throughout California, and is used by many government granting and regulatory agencies, Joint Ventures, non-profits and other project proponents.

• California Environmental Data Exchange Network (CEDEN) - The data management system used by the State Water Quality Resource Control Board for surface water quality

Monitoring and Assessment

Recommended methods for monitoring and assessment of projects

• California Rapid Assessment Method (CRAM) - CRAM is a recommended method to assess and monitor the conditions of wetlands, streams, and riparian areas. CRAM is part of the WRAMP process described below
• Wetland and Riparian Area Monitoring Plan (WRAMP) - WRAMP is a recommended method to monitor and assess projects relevant to aquatic resources using a watershed or landscape context. See WRAMP FAQ and Guidance (PDF) for CDFW Prop 1 Projects.
