Due to ongoing concerns with wild pigs in California and the damage they cause, the California Fish and Game Commission and CDFW will be holding a virtual public forum to discuss related issues and explore potential solutions that address and reduce problems.

CDFW is soliciting public input on a proposed regulation change that would restrict the harvest of striped bass to a “slot limit” between 20 and 30 inches for inland anadromous waters. Under the proposal, all striped bass caught below 20 inches in length and above 30 inches in length would have to be released.
