At the California Wolf-Livestock Stakeholder meeting on November 17th, the Department will provide an interactive forum to receive and provide comments about the Program with a focus on developing the Pay for Presence prong.

In preparation of this in-person meeting, the Department has prepared a draft concept regarding all three prongs of the program: (1) Direct Loss, (2) Deterrent Methods, (3) Pay for Presence. This document is available for viewing on the CDFW Gray Wolf Program webpage. Specific attention may be focused on the yellow highlighted sections where we seek additional input.
