Wild Pig Hunting


A hunting license and wild pig tag are generally required to take wild pig in California.

General Season: Open all year.

Bag and Possession Limit: There is no daily bag or possession limit for wild pigs.

  • Pig hunting on Tehama Wilidlife Area is held concurrently with the G-1 deer hunt. Any person who has a deer tag (G-1) and a TWA access permit may take pigs during the hunt period. See the Tehama Wildlife Area page for further information.
