Canada de San Vicente Ecological Reserve Dove Hunt, San Diego County - September 14, 2024 (2101)

Hunt area is on Canada de San Vicente Ecological Reserve, Ramona, CA. One Morning hunt will be offered, 9/14/2024 from 5:30 a.m. to Noon. This hunt will accommodate 20 hunters. Maximum party size is 3 hunters. All hunters must possess a draw issued permit, a valid California hunting license, a valid Harvest Information Program (HIP) Validation, and all non-junior hunters must possess a valid upland game bird validation. All hunters must be on the application at the time of the application deadline, no additional guests are allowed at the time of check-in. North Chimineas Ranch Family Upland Hunt, Carrizo Plains Ecological Reserve, San Luis Obispo County - September 7, 2024 (1203)

Chimineas Upland Hunt – Carrizo Plains Ecological Reserve, San Luis Obispo Co. Open to dove, rabbit, and a potential for wild pig hunting (further information will be given to successful applicants). This hunt will accommodate 30 hunters. Maximum hunt party size of 3 hunters. All hunters must possess a draw issued permit, a valid California hunting license, a valid Harvest Information Program (HIP) Validation, and all non-junior hunters must possess a valid upland game bird validation. North Chimineas Ranch Mobility Impaired Upland Hunt, Carrizo Plains Ecological Reserve, San Luis Obispo County - September 7, 2024 (9203)

Chimineas Upland Hunt –Carrizo Plains Ecological Reserve, San Luis Obispo Co. Open to dove, rabbit, and a potential for wild pig hunting (further information will be given to successful applicants). This hunt will accommodate 5 mobility impaired hunters and their parties. Maximum hunt party size of 3 hunters and total quota of 5 mobility impaired hunters. All hunters must possess a draw issued permit, a valid California hunting license, a valid Harvest Information Program (HIP) Validation, and all non-junior hunters must possess a valid upland game bird validation. Los Banos Wildlife Area Hunt, Merced County - September 1, 2024 (1401)

Area will accommodate 100 hunters total (max party size of 3). All hunters must possess a draw issued permit, a valid California hunting license, a valid Harvest Information Program (HIP) Validation, and all non-junior hunters must possess a valid upland game bird validation. Reservations will be taken starting 2 hours before shoot time. Reservations will be void one hour before legal shoot time. North Grasslands Wildlife Area, Salt Slough Unit, Merced County - September 1, 2024 (1601)

Area will accommodate 40 hunters (max party size of 3). All hunters must possess a draw issued permit, a valid California hunting license, a valid Harvest Information Program (HIP) Validation, and all non-junior hunters must possess a valid upland game bird validation. Hunters without a reservation may sign up for a lottery the night before at the Salt Slough check station. Reservations will be taken first, starting 2 hours before shoot time. Any remaining space will be filled from the lottery list. Reservations will be void one hour before legal shoot time. Pilibos Family Dove Hunt, Fresno County - Morning September 1, 2024 (7701)

Hunt area is located approximately 12 miles west of Mendota adjacent to the California Aqueduct. This Family hunt will accommodate 25 hunters in the morning. Maximum party size is 3 hunters. All hunters must possess a draw issued permit, a valid California hunting license, a valid Harvest Information Program (HIP) Validation, and all non-junior hunters must possess a valid upland game bird validation. Pilibos Junior Required Afternoon Hunt, Fresno County - Afternoon September 1, 2024 (7702)

Hunt area is located approximately 12 miles west of Mendota adjacent to the California Aqueduct. This afternoon hunt is a Junior Required hunt, meaning each party must include at least one junior hunter and the hunt will accommodate 25 total hunters. A junior hunter must create the initial application and then adults or additional juniors may join the party. All hunters must possess a draw issued permit, a valid California hunting license, a valid Harvest Information Program (HIP) Validation, and all non-junior hunters must possess a valid upland game bird validation. Informational Notice: North Grasslands Wildlife Area-China Island, Merced County - September 1, 2024

China Island will be unregulated. Gates will be open two hours before shoot time. No reservations will be issued. Yellow permits will be handed out at the Brazo road gate when gates open. Permits must be returned to DFW employee or drop box upon leaving. Afternoon hunters will not be required to have a permit.
