The California Fishing Passport includes 150 different species of freshwater and saltwater finfish and shellfish that occur throughout the state. With this passport book as your guide, try to catch and document all of the different species listed. For each species caught, you will receive a stamp in this passport book documenting your achievement.

How to Obtain the California Fishing Passport
California Fishing Passport books are available free of charge to all licensed anglers, and to children upon request from CDFW License Sales Offices and many Authorized Stamping Agents on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last.
Fishing industry businesses, and non-profit organizations, fishing clubs, scouts, educational institutions, etc. may order bulk supplies of California Fishing Passports and California Finfish and Shellfish Identification Books for a small fee through applying for status as program Supporters or Educational Partners.
