A Los Angeles Superior Court judged against a group of people and businesses who imported and sold live, non-native abalone in Los Angeles in violation of California law.

Today, the Pacific Fishery Management Council (PFMC) acted unanimously to recommend a full closure of California’s commercial and recreational ocean salmon season.
