As a reminder, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) is hosting two workshops focused on restoration granting and permitting under its Cutting the Green Tape initiative. This Friday, CDFW will provide an overview and seek feedback from the public on the development of a planned Summer 2021 Grant Solicitation focused on four watersheds within CDFW’s North Coast Salmon Project that will also pilot efficiencies developed under Cutting the Green Tape. Next week, a second workshop will focus on restoration permitting, including an overview of existing and new project-specific permitting options and case studies, led by CDFW permitting specialists.

See the above Agendas for information about accessing the workshops. No registration or RSVP is necessary. We are looking forward to these workshops and hope our restoration community can join us and participate in the opportunity to provide feedback and learn more about these efforts.
