Mission
Our mission is to work with our federal, state and industry partners to increase awareness of potential oil spills and respond to oil spills by insuring the best achievable protection to California natural resources. The Field Prevention Specialists conduct spill response, vessel compliance boardings, facility inspections, spill investigations, bunker monitoring, harbor patrols, drills, and various other outreach activities.
