Lake and Streambed Alteration Fees

On January 1, 2026, the LSA fee schedule will be updated pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1609 to reflect an 2.53% increase. All notifications and fees received on or after January 1, 2026, shall comply with §699.5. Fees for Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreements (2026) (PDF)(opens in new tab).

LSA Fees

CDFW is not required to determine whether an LSA notification is complete or otherwise begin processing the notification until the applicable regional CDFW office has received the notification and correct notification fee.

Pay by Credit Card

NOTE: If paying the LSA fee online, the credit card transaction will include a 5% handling fee that is not refundable.

Pay by Check/Money Order

NOTE: If paying LSA fees by mail, complete the Check or Money Order Form, and mail the form along with the payment to the applicable regional CDFW office.
