The meeting is hosted by California Department of Fish and Wildlife. Please check the meeting’s page frequently as new information will be posted as it becomes available.

Virtual participation for the 2026 Annual Meeting will be limited. The WRP will have a virtual platform to join the meeting, however there will be limited ability to interact with the speakers and audience. We encourage you to participate in person. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has published the Notice of Proposed Action to amend sections 650, 672, 672.1, and 672.2 to Title 14, California Code of Regulations (CCR). Fish and Game Code Section 2301 authorizes the Department to adopt regulations regarding the management of invasive mussels. The Department will hold a virtual public hearing for this proposed action on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 1:00PM to 2:00PM.

Any interested person, or their authorized representative, may submit written comments on the proposed action to the Department. All written comments must be received by the Department via mail or email no later than Tuesday August 18, 2026, to the contact as follows:
