CDFW has released an updated report identifying the most important areas to advance wildlife connectivity projects.

At its February 16, 2023, quarterly meeting, the Wildlife Conservation Board approved approximately $51.83 million in grants to help restore and protect fish and wildlife habitat throughout California.

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) is pleased to announce that its Ocean Ranch Unit in Humboldt County, part of the larger Eel River Wildlife Area, will open to waterfowl hunting and general public access beginning Monday, January 2, 2023.
