Kid's Fishing Day

Kids Fishing Days have returned to Mount Shasta Hatchery!

Three events will be held this year on June 15, July 6, and August 17. Ponds will be stocked with trout, and volunteers will be available to help with your questions about fishing. Free bait and limited loaner tackle will be provided. Each angler under the age of 15 can keep two fish.

The events are open to children 15 years old and younger. Parents can register their kids on the day of the event between 8:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., and fishing will occur between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
