CDFW summarizes California’s hunting and fishing regulations into electronic regulations booklets. Though we offer these booklets for download, it’s important to check this page for updated versions as they may be revised throughout the year.
When regulatory information is updated within a booklet, the cover page will feature a revised release date. In instances when non-regulatory information is updated, such as changes in department contacts or point-of-sale locations for licenses and stamps, the booklet will retain its original release date on the cover.
