CUSTOMER RECORD

To create or retrieve a customer record, you must search for an existing profile by completing the Customer Search Criteria below. If no existing record is located, the Create New Customer Record button will be enabled.

Do not create a new customer record if you have already purchased a license.
New customer records are inactivated 24-48 hours after creation if no licenses are purchased.

The 2024 hunting licenses and big game drawing tag applications will be available beginning April 15, 2024. The Big Game Drawing Deadline is Midnight PST on Sunday, June 2, 2024.

CDFW staff are only available to help with and correct draw application errors Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST. Do not wait until June to submit your drawing applications! Last minute application errors may result in you missing this year’s drawing. Late applications cannot be accepted.

Customer Search Criteria

All information collected during the registration process is specific to the individual that will be utilizing the license.

Enter a date of birth and last name of the individual for whom you wish to purchase a license.
Do not enter a suffix (Jr, Sr, III, etc.) in the last name field.

GUEST CUSTOMERS - NO CUSTOMER RECORD REQUIRED

The following items may be purchased without a customer record under the Guest option.

Gift Vouchers (not a valid license until redeemed for a resident sport fishing license)
2-Day Waterfowl Area Passes (for hunting purposes)
1-Day CDFW Lands Passes that allow access to specific CDFW sites (not required with a valid hunting or fishing license)
Warden Stamps to help support CDFW Law Enforcement
Subscribe to Outdoor California magazine or renew a current subscription
Pay Environmental Filing Fees
Pay Scientific Collecting Permit Fees
