The 2026 Fisheries Restoration Grant Program (FRGP) solicitation closes Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. PST.

CDFW is now accepting full applications for projects under FRGP. The 2026 FRGP Proposal Solicitation Notice (PSN) (PDF) and 2026 FRGP Guidelines (PDF) outline the priorities and requirements to apply. Applications must be submitted via CDFW WebGrants.

CDFW is now accepting full applications for projects under the Fisheries Restoration Grant Program (FRGP). 2026 Endangered Species Conservation and Recovery Program (Traditional Section 6) Proposal Solicitation Open

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) 2026 Endangered Species Conservation and Recovery Program Grant application period opened February 26, 2026. Applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m., April 6, 2026. See the Proposal Solicitation Notice for submission directions. These grants are awarded by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to CDFW, and project leads must be CDFW staff; however, CDFW welcomes collaboration with external partners who may be supported through contracts and payable grants. Interested parties should coordinate with CDFW staff to develop project proposals.

Nesting Bird Habitat Incentive Program Now Accepting Applications

CDFW is now accepting applications for projects under the Nesting Bird Habitat Incentive Program Public Lands Funding 2026-27. The Public Solicitation Notice (PDF) outlines the program objectives, funding, application requirements and schedule.
