Closing Soon: 2026 FRGP Solicitation Closes Thurs, June 4

The 2026 Fisheries Restoration Grant Program (FRGP) solicitation closes Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. PST.

CDFW is now accepting full applications for projects under FRGP. The 2026 FRGP Proposal Solicitation Notice (PSN) (PDF) and 2026 FRGP Guidelines (PDF) outline the priorities and requirements to apply. Applications must be submitted via CDFW WebGrants.

For more information, please see the 2026 PSN, 2026 Guidelines, 2026 PSN FAQ (PDF) and FRGP PSN page. Applicants should refer to the 2026 PSN Application Forms Template (Word) to help organize application information.

2026 FRGP Public Solicitation Notice Full Application Phase Open

CDFW is now accepting full applications for projects under the Fisheries Restoration Grant Program (FRGP). The 2026 FRGP Proposal Solicitation Notice (PSN) (PDF) and 2026 FRGP Guidelines (PDF) outline the priorities and requirements to apply. 2026 FRGP Proposal Solicitation Notice Is Open

The CDFW Fisheries Restoration Grant Program (FRGP) is pleased to announce the 2026 FRGP Proposal Solicitation Notice (PSN). The 2026 PSN includes an optional concept proposal phase that will be open from January 13, 2026, through March 2, 2026. The full PSN application phase will be open March 3, 2026. The deadline to apply is April 16, 2026, 3:00 p.m.

As of 2026, all proposals requesting $2 million or more are required to submit a concept proposal to be eligible for the full proposal.

Applicants must apply online using WebGrants. For more information, please see the links below.

CDFW will hold an online public workshop on February 4, 2026, 11:00 am to 12:00 pm to provide an overview of the solicitation. Workshop attendance is not a requirement for submitting a proposal.
