Current grantees can apply by following the <a href="http://nrm.dfg.ca.gov/FileHandler.ashx?DocumentID=219938&inline">FRGP's Contingency Funding Guidelines (PDF)</a>. These adaptive funds allow projects to request additional funds to successfully complete their awarded project.
