The map below provides the last known location of satellite collared wolves within California to help livestock producers mitigate wolf-livestock conflict. Highlighted hexagons on the map represent the most recent locations from the collars themselves. Satellite collars do not provide real-time location information, but do attempt to send location data every morning. Additional information on this map, wolf collar data, and the process of collaring wolves can be found at: Wolf Location Map Additional Information & FAQ (PDF)
