Announcements

Pending final approval from the Office of Administrative Law, a Wild Pig Validation will replace Hunt Tag(s) for Wild Pig beginning July 1, 2024.

Regulations

  • A hunting license and wild pig tag are generally required to take wild pig in California.
  • General Season: Open all year.
  • Bag and Possession Limit: There is no daily bag or possession limit for wild pigs.

Tehama Wildlife Area

  • Pig hunting on Tehama Wilidlife Area is held concurrently with the G-1 deer hunt. Any person who has a deer tag (G-1) and a TWA access permit may take pigs during the hunt period. See the Tehama Wildlife Area page for further information.
